The Michael Dante Booth Stage Light Fund was established to honor the legacy of Michael Dante Booth and support the Selah Theatre Project's mission to create top-notch theater productions.
When we opened our performance space in 2021, we were not in a position to install LED lighting instruments. Instead, we relied on light instruments that were donated or borrowed.
For anyone who has enjoyed a play in our theater, we ask you to consider purchasing a light to add new lighting instruments and move to more energy efficient and reliable LED lighting.
We've set a goal purchasing 10 new lights, plus cables to safely create a well lit creative space.

Michael Dante Booth was a dear friend of our founder. They went to Governor's School for the Arts together, singing, dancing, and dreaming. After Michael left for New York, he struggled as an actor, but always had heart for the stage. Like, Michael, every actor gifting this world deserves to have a light shining on them. Michael's painting was designed by his close friend, Patricia Watwood.
