Throughout the thirteen years that Selah Theatre Project has been around, we have often been labeled as "edgy," "race-based," or "super gay" theater. Initially, these labels used to upset me. Being a millennial, I ask for your understanding. Over the years, we have made significant efforts to break free from stereotypes and classifications. Yet nowadays, we are simply defined by the categories assigned to us, leading to individuals who have never visited our small theater spreading misconceptions or misinformation about our work.
